BUSY

I started school yesterday! I'm taking 3 classes online through Las Positas - Business Law, Intro to Psychology, and Intro to Health. I signed up for the classes months ago, BEFORE I started selling Mary Kay. I had no idea how busy I would be with Mary Kay, and now the 3 classes are going to take up more of my time! Who knew being a stay at home mom would actually make me BUSIER than I was when I worked full time? It's okay.. I can handle it, and it'll be better for the family in the long run. Get my degree, then start making some real money!

Isaac starts pre-k on September 14! We'll get back from Texas on August 31st, so we'll have a good 2 weeks to prepare for school. He is very excited, and I know he'll do great. It will be good for him to be around kids again too. The past month that he has been out of daycare he has been extra energetic. It'll be good for him (AND ME) to blow off some steam.

Seth rolled over for the first time a few weeks ago (I think I blogged about it). Well, he hasn't done it since! Well, at least in front of anyone. I went upstairs yesterday to grab something and when I came back down he was on his belly. He is being very selective about showing off his new trick!

Trip to SF

I took both of the boys to SF yesterday, so I could visit with my old co workers. We took BART up, and Isaac was lovin it. He was telling me about every truck he saw. Car Transporters, Fuel Trucks. I never paid attention to how many different types of trucks there are until I had a 4 year old son haha. Seth slept most of the way there and back, so it was actually a pretty easy trip!

Here's hoping that our trip to Texas in 2 weeks is just as smooth. Isaac loves airplanes, but keeps saying he doesn't want to go on one! Go figure.

Time outs and farting.

We just dropped off some paperwork at Isaac's pre-k class, and now he keeps saying he wants to go to school. Cute. :)

He is so dang cute, it is tough to discipline him sometimes! He was making tons of noise when he was supposed to be sleeping last night, so Kevin went upstairs to tell him to be quiet. Right when he opened the door, Isaac proclaims, "I FARTED, DAD!!" Kevin cracked up, and told him to stop makin noise. He then proceeded to be loud, so we took him out of bed to put him on time out. He sat as still as possible and wouldn't make eye contact with me or Kevin. About halfway through his 4 minute time out, the cat started sniffin his face and he was trying SO HARD to keep his pouty face, but his smile kept breakin through. Kevin and I kept trying not to laugh because he was supposed to be in trouble, but it was tough!

Turtle power

Auntie Mona is coming back from vacation today. She has been gone for about a week and a half, and Isaac misses her! I'm picking her up from the airport today, and then she is going to take Isaac for the whole day tomorrow. He'll love it... the picture is Isaac & Mona swimming at her house last month.

Isaac is now refusing to call anybody by their real name, and insists on using their Ninja Turtle names. He made a slight alteration in the naming, and I am now April. Maybe he finally realized Mom is a girl haha. He also gets ticked if I call him Isaac, and he goes "No Mom. Turtle." Oh, excuse me.

Seth is becoming such a HAPPY baby. He grins and giggles constantly, and his smile lights up his whole face. He especially likes when Isaac walks by.. when Isaac notices that he is smiling at him he says, "Look Mom! He is happy!" Warms my heart. I can't wait until they can actually play together!!

It has begun...

Sooo, Seth is already getting his first tooth. It started popping through a few days ago, and he is a drooling mess. It doesn't seem to be bothering him too much, but it did make him learn how to suck his thumb! It is way early for him to be teething, but Isaac was early with his teeth too.

Speaking of Isaac, we had our first case of sibling fighting today. I went to take out a stinky diaper, and when I came back Seth was screaming. I asked Isaac what happened and he said "I hit him." Greaaaaat. It has begun! At least Isaac was honest about it, but now he is mad he can't watch Ninja Turtles. You don't get to watch Ninja Turtles if you hit your brother!

Isaac has been all about Ninja Turtles lately. Last night he told Kevin that he was Leonardo, Kevin was Donatello, I was Rapheal, Seth was Michaelangalo, and Feeney was April. Way cute.
